1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Roeady ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Roeady is an AI-powered road trip planning application that provides:

  • Personalized trip itineraries and route suggestions
  • Points of interest recommendations
  • Navigation assistance
  • User reviews and ratings
  • RoadMiles rewards program
  • Premium features for subscribed users

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in certain jurisdictions) to create an account.

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Free and Premium Plans

Roeady offers both free and premium subscription plans. Premium features include unlimited AI trip planning, offline maps, and advanced analytics.

4.2 Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Prices are subject to change with notice.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

4.4 Refunds

Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@roeady.com for refund inquiries.

5. RoadMiles Rewards Program

RoadMiles are earned through trip completion, reviews, and referrals. Key terms:

  • RoadMiles have no cash value
  • RoadMiles may expire after 12 months of account inactivity
  • We reserve the right to modify the rewards program with notice
  • Fraudulent activity will result in forfeiture of RoadMiles

6. User Content

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit (reviews, photos, trip data). By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

6.2 Content Guidelines

You agree not to post content that:

  • Is false, misleading, or fraudulent
  • Infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
  • Contains malware or harmful code
  • Violates any applicable law

6.3 Review Authenticity

Reviews must be based on genuine visits. GPS verification is used to ensure authenticity. Fake reviews will be removed and may result in account suspension.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect user data
  • Use automated systems without permission
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use the Service while driving in an unsafe manner

8. Safety and Driving

Important: Always prioritize safe driving. Do not interact with the app while operating a vehicle. Pull over to a safe location before using the app. We are not responsible for accidents or violations resulting from app use while driving.

9. Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party services (maps, payment processors, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Roeady and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE:

  • Accuracy of route or POI information
  • Availability or uptime of the Service
  • That the Service will meet your requirements
  • That businesses or locations will be open or available

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROEADY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Roeady and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Roeady is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive the right to participate in class actions.

17. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
